1992
De foundation of HE techniek was laid in 1992 by Hans Erkelens. Originally as a rental company and trading enterprise in used cooling equipment. The activities were carried out from the home at that point, alongside a regular employment.

1995-1997
Later the passion for cooling technology was elevated by acquiring a NVKL installation diploma and trading license degree, which made it possible by law to practice a cooling technology installation company. In the following period the legal decision regarding ozone layer affecting substances became active, which required an acknowledgement by law. This STEK-acknowledgement was obtained in 1997.

2001 Hans Erkelens decided in this year to end his regular employment, and further build the company as a self employed entrepreneur.

2003
For the execution of the duties the assistance of former colleague Aad Franken was called for. A partnership eventually seemed the next logical step. In 2003 the current companions decided to continue the company as a VOF, and established themselves in the business premises at the Mandenmakerstraat 92 b in Hoogvliet in the industrial estate Gadering.

2007
Because the expansion of the project load and the associated service, the team was expanded in 2007 with service technician Ricardo de Goede.

2011
The company Wilro koeling, where Hans and Aad had a lengthy history of employment, informs their proposed closure of business. The activities of Wilro were adopted at the end of 2011 by HE techniek.

2012
Due to the growing burden of administrative duties in the company in regards to capacity in “the field”, Ineke de Jong joins in 2012 as a part-time administrative employee.

2014
In recent years the laws and regulations concerning cooling technology have developed considerably. HE technology has furthered their competence in order to comply with all laws and standards like the PED, the F-gas regulation and the EPBD (Energy performance of Buildings Directive)

2015
Ricardo quits his job at HE techniek to become technical adviser at a supply company of refrigeration parts.
