If your equipment fails to operate there are a number of steps you can check before reporting the malfunction. Please check the steps below:
- Does the installation have power? Are all circuit breakers complete or switched on?
- Are all safety devices (if applicable) reset?
- Is the operation console set to the correct function? (at airco with the “mode” switch). At multi split units all the indoor units have to be in the same “mode”.
- Are the filters clean?
- Is the condenser of the outer part clean?
- Is the environmental temperature of the cooling machine too high? (if required ventilate)
- Have obstructions been sucked into the condenser or evaporator? (for example paper or plastic)
- Are doors of cooling or freezing stores or cabinets opened too often or too long?
- Has there been a large supply of (warm) products?
These are just several matters you can check yourself or can keep an eye on. Apart from those you can find answers to many frequently asked questions below.
Can I ask HE techniek to install or repair an airco I have purchased by myself?
- No, HE technology does not supply installation or start-up of equipment supplied by third parties. We only offer a complete package of design and selection, delivery, assembly, start-up and after care. This way we can maintain a high level of quality, and there can be no confusion regarding warranties.
Is HE techniek the contact for air conditioners of the HE brand?
- No, HE (Home Electronics) is a manufacturer of consumer electronics and is in no way affiliated with HE techniek.
My cooling has failed to operate. How can I report a failure?
- You can always call us. The processing of malfunction reports do have a different priority system as stated on our service page. If you are a new customer and we have not yet examined your installation, you will have to fill in the report form completely. Based on this we can judge if your installation applies for our services.
What does a new installation cost at HE techniek?
- If you like we can send you an estimate or target price. HE techniek does not claim to be the cheapest in all cases, but more importantly we want to be regarded as one of the better installers. A product installed with accuracy, of a good quality with great after care. In the end you have to decide what is more important. The advantage of a lower price is often forgotten while the irritation of poor quality lasts.
How can I best compare quotes?
- Also read the above text, but focus on the exclusions of the other supplier. Often the services that are not directly part of the delivery are excluded. Think about electronics, plumbing work, (concrete)drilling, demolition work, roofing work, optional crane etc. It is also important to compare the correct capacity, energy consumption and the warranty conditions.
